Title: 1967 Suspension
Post by: onebad34 on September 07, 2007, 01:42:06 AM
I am converting my camaro back to the original four piston calipers.  Someone at onetime converted the car over to the 1969 style single piston caliper.  I bought all original GM parts to convert it back.  But, I am noticing that if I turn the wheels to either direction the bracket that bolts to the caliper to support the rubber brake hose will hit the rubber suspension bumper before the steering stop on the lower control stops the steering.  There is no weight on the suspeions, but I do not see where this would change anything.  Does anyone have any ideas?  I changed the calipers, caliper mounting brackets, rotors, brake lines, brake line mounting bracket on the calipers.
