Since I've owned my 67 Camaro, it's only ever had 2 rear seat belts. It has Deluxe interior, but not the interior style trim -- so the seat belts themselves are the standard black plastic. I just noticed that all of the parts houses (Rick's, Classic Ind., etc.) sell seat belt kits that include two front and three rear. It just got me thinking that maybe I'm supposed to have a third seat belt back there?
Thanks.

In 67 they had two rear sets and then in 68 changed it to three rear sets. You only need to add it if you need it to haul the yung'uns :)

read THIS (http://www.camaros.org/pdf/options-rpo23feb00-2.pdf) for an exact count.

so Ed,it looks like a car with delux belts only got belts for 2 in the rear is that correct? my car has standard buckets int with delux belts and is not on the list. ???

Ron the "Standard" and "Deluxe" designations on the seat belt page are for the belts themselves, not the interior. "Standard" would indicate the base unit's plastic housing and "Deluxe" being the optional A39 (metal housing) belts.
So if you have a standard interior with the optional A39 deluxe belts, you would have 2 in the front and 2 in the rear UNLESS you also had A68 (Rear Seat Center Belt) or A68 and AS1 (Rear Seat Center Belt and Shoulder Belts).
As the page says, there were 24 different belt combinations for 67, NOT including colors, so it can get a bit confusing.

Thanks Ed,now im sure my car only had 2 for the rear. Was there any info on the fold down rear seat with the belts? I know the fold down seat got narrower side panels with ash trays and might not have recieved belts for 3 persons with the fold down seat.

Ron,
Since the convertible rear seat width is the same as the fold down, the same applications would apply. Normally 2, but 3 if you ordered the A68 option, or the A68 and AS1 options.
