Title: What is the correct fuel sending unit for 69 camaro w/327
Post by: Hugger Orange 69 on August 10, 2007, 07:49:25 PM
Carb is Edelbrock 4bbl. I think it is a 500CFM.
When I look in the Classic Industries catalog I don't see a replacement listed.

<edit> It is a single line fuel inlet. Though it is not an original carb, it is the original sending unit and it works fine except for the fact that it does not send a signal to the fuel gauge, which is a pain I want to correct. Can I simply measure the tube inlet at the carb and go by that?

Camaro's with Holley carb's (High Performance) used a single fuel line sending unit. Camaro's with Rochester carbs (Med. Performance) used a dual fuel line sending unit (1 line for return). I believe it because of the fuel pump having the return line connection on the Rochester setup. Camaros didn't come with Edelbrock carbs so whichever fuel pump you have and also how your car is set up, does it have 2 fuel lines or 1. Also what you want to do with the car.
Hope this helps:
