Title: What posi manufacturers could have been used in a Norwood 1969 Camaro?
Post by: LeadFoot_69_Z/28 on August 09, 2007, 10:39:02 PM
From a crg REPORT on 1967 - 1969 Camaro Axles:
When a 1967 - 1969 Camaro was equiped with a posi rear axle, it would be stamped on the second line with a letter which was the positraction manufacturer code.  The posi manufacturer codes are D for Dana, E for Eaton, and W for Warner.

Could a Norwood 1969 Z28 have an axle made by Dana, Eaton, or Warner?

Thank you in advance for your input...

I'm not aware of anything other than Eaton being used in passenger car axles. Dana and Warner were used in trucks, I believe.

All Camaro positraction axles used Eaton ("E") posi units.
