Title: 69 Tach - no gauges
Post by: jdv69z on July 11, 2007, 02:59:24 PM
I see a Z/28 on e bay which has a tach, but not oil-water-ammeter-fuel gauges in console. Fuel gauge is between tach and speedometer in dash. I assume this is correct, but do not recall seeing this before?
Is this arrangement pretty uncommon?

That's the configuration you got when you ordered the U16 tachometer and didn't order the D55 console or U17 instrumentation.

The tach-only option was requested by Yenko early in 1969 and eventually became part of COPO 9737. The last batch of L72 Camaros Yenko ordered had it. It is a very low-production option.
