Ebay link here...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110142861679&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:us
This is the same car: (...I copied this from my post back in Jan.)
-----------------------------------
...I owned an unrestored L30/M20 RS briefly, ...but have since sold it (CRG has all the info on it).
Here's a link to some photos I took of the car http://rides.webshots.com/album/254439242GomVOm
Interestingly enough, ...the guy who purchased it from me (from Missouri) had it up on Ebay (advertised as an RS/SS): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=002&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=120067117799&rd=1,1
...it went over what I sold it to him for, but didn't meet his reserve.
...What I couldn't quite figure is WHY he painted the trim tag??
Here's a pic when I had the car (nothing touched):

...and this is from the Ebay auction for the same car:

...I will refrain from jumping to conclusions, ...but it does make one wonder...???
...and what the trim tag is today (3rd one in photoset):

It's the same tag in the same car, What's your beef?. I've got an L30/M20. PS,AC.
-
...no 'beef' with anything. ...simply giving a heads up that the car was back on Ebay, ...and that it's not an SS.
-
isn't the "4P" an SS with a 350? or am i mistaken?? :-\
-
Ad calls it an RS/SS 327.
If I recall there were no SS 327's
Decode page says 4P = L48 or L30/M20 SS350 or L30/M20 - Non-SS396/Z28 paint with radius rod

...one of the reasons for my post. "4P" does not always mean SS.
In the case of the L30/M20's, they were not SS's (no SS 327), ...but they did receive the 12bolt with traction bar, ..therefore the later (I believe meaning after January) built cars did get the "4P" cowl tag code.

so i see..... :)
