How often do these 392 lifters need adjusting in a car drivien on the street?

In the day, lashing the valves was considered a normal part of a tune-up at 12,000-mile intervals. I did mine last in 2001, about 3,000 miles ago. With stock valvetrain components, they require very little attention; with aftermarket cams and "Godzilla" valve springs, it's a different story.

adjust them when they start making more noise than usual.

My engine is all stanard 302 equipment so I guess until it sounds different I will leave them the way they are. They werre lashed 1000 miles ago with not a lot of hard miles since. Again thanks
