Guys. what is the best glue/adhesive for keeping an air cleaner decal in place that is not self adhering?

Weldwood contact cement, Vinyl top adhesive, 3M Super 77. Choose your weapon. Light coat so as to avoid oozing and making a mess. I'm assuming yours has a shiny printed face.
