I have 2 friends (and they’ll admit to it) that are building 68s. They have NOS fenders with stickers and 1 set was still in the GM boxes. Only the passenger side has the run number stamping. I bought my fenders in 1988 and both fenders have run numbers. Any information about this is helpful and appreciated.
Mod-if this needs to be moved, feel free to.

If you are talking about the date stamps located where the hood rests when closed my '68 has them on both fenders. Hope this helps, RonM.

Here are some shots on each fender and hood. All stamped 19. Have several cars and all have stamps on both fenders. Danny

There may be documented factory original panel cars with no stamps. I am sure there are some that didn't get stamped? D

David, My GM NORS (New-Old-Replacement Stock) 1980's Driver side (LH) GM Stickered Fender lacks the Date or Batch or Run Number also.
Photo Soon.

Thanks Danny/Indy. Weird how the only passenger side has them.
Danny, where is that stamp in the 3rd picture? Can I get a wider shot?
I’ll pass this along…much appreciated.

Note that is the hood in the 3rd picture, not fender. I was just showing some panels stamped alike. That is the back left side facing out. D

Uh Oh.
I enlarged the photo
