Title: NY area Camaro expert
Post by: Ssconte on March 08, 2023, 03:47:25 AM
Is there anyone in the NY city area that can inspect and look into the originality of a car I just purchased ?   The car has an interesting history and I want to know how to preserve it. Any information on costs for thus kind of service would be appreciated.

Steve

Well, since you’ve already bought it, give us some details. There are some pretty sharp people here who can help. Also, look at the “Originality” section and “Preservation of a 68 Camaro”.

You could always call Jerry McNeish.  He's in Maryland ---- short ride.   http://www.z28camaro.com/

Steve Shauger lives on Long Island. He does the Vintage Certification for MCACN and the Nationals. He would be the one to contact, especially for original or survivor car

Steve is a great resource and a nice guy. I finally was able to meet him at nationals this year.
