Title: Alternator
Post by: b4cmaro on April 22, 2007, 02:29:33 AM
Looking at some of the part numbers on my '69 Z - knowing many of the components have been changed, but trying to figure out whats on it...

Here are the numbers from my alternator

1100693 - 37A
6J2L

Any idea what the 'L' in 6J2L is?

1100693s were used during the 1967 Camaro model year.  Looks like a type-o on the stamping.  Last digit should be a number, not a letter.  Definately a factory screw up.
