Title: Don't know Jack about Camaros Part 4
Post by: Pacecar on July 22, 2022, 12:23:59 AM
Working on the jack section for the 1967 / 1968 Camaro Legends Judging Manual - Went thru old threads here as well as other sources. It appears Ryerson & Haynes was the supplier to Norwood in 1967 and early model year 1968 thru November or December, 1967. Then Universal became sole or primary supplier.  Also, there were two versions of the Universal load rest or lift hook in 1968. First has 1968 Camaro UN on the face. The second had that writing on the back or underside. Do not know if this was random or a date transition. Any help in verifying or correcting these issues would be appreciated. Need know original jacks. thanks

Jacks were a commodity, it would be normal to have multiple suppliers throughout the year, though there often was a primary supplier.
