Quite possibly a day 1 or 2 build day on eBay….at least the trim tag was. Suspect tag for sure. RR paint code. Matador red. But nobody put a vinyl top on a car.

Seems like a very early car. VT may have been installed to hide the rust.

Back in the day, dealers and body shops would install vinyl tops. Also the trim strips that run down the sides of a car, midway up the doors.

My reply from your other post that seems to have been deleted;
Hard to say who or when the VT was added. It may've been dealer installed. Although the tag is obscured from multiple coatings, I'd say it's probably legit...

Tag matches the VIN, most likely the original to the car.

Tag is correct and original for that car. Not sure why original post said "Suspect tag for sure."
Many cars got vinyl tops later in life. Not usual after being around for almost 55 years.
