Title: looking for 68 Camaro that matches this motor Vin number 18N344610
Post by: 66Lemans on January 24, 2022, 01:02:00 AM
I sold the car in 1984 at Auburn Ind. without the original motor. I have the original motor but at the time the guy didn't want it. I'm looking for the car to see if the owner wants the motor to make it complete, Serial number 18N344610. Casting number 3916323. Decode number T1108MQ. Motor is complete with original rectangle port heads and factory aluminum intake.

I moved your thread to the orphans section, but 124378N344610 was on ebay a few times back in 2009 by seller tamrick3 in Bloomington, IL

Here's the auction description:

This car has been completely restored from the ground up. The car is 90% new!! I replaced almost all sheet metal. New metal includes complete floor pan, toe kicks, complete trunk pan, all tail panels, panel above trunk, both rear full quarters, both front fenders, lower front fenders, dash panel, complete rear frame rails, inner and outer rear wheel housings and some other misc. pieces. Interior is almost completely new except for speedo, tic-toc-tac, floor console, steering column, dash trim and pillar trim. Engine is a "freshened" 396 bored .030 over. See pictures for "Pass High Performance" stamping on block and heads. Transmission is an M22 "Rock Crusher" 4-speed. Rear axle is factory and has had subframe connectors installed. The entire under carriage was sprayed with POR15 while on the rotisserie (also seen in pictures). The wheels are "factory" look-a-likes ordered special for narrow fronts and wide rears. Exhaust is 3" from headers to exit. I have included several pictures which take you through the restoration process. I have invested alot of time and hard work into this car and really do not want to sell it. Unfortunately, the economy has put me in an unstable job environment and I need to sell the car. I have nothing to hide here so please ask if you have any questions. VIN# 124378N344610

And a few pictures below.
