Title: Not much LOS stuff on orphans
Post by: 68Zproject on April 13, 2007, 04:22:43 PM
Is that because Norwood made so many more Camaros? I keep looking, but most of the items have an N by them.  Not many Ls.

Exactly. For example, in 1967 the LA plant produced 65k Camaros while Norwood built over 150k! But it's not that the surfer dudes were slackers. They also built Full Size cars as well. So the "grand total" of cars produced by the LA plant was probably about the same (if not more) as what Norwood did on just the Camaro.

Since these are often from a dealership, it depends on where the dealership is located. We have a lot of docs from a few midwest dealers, so that makes the list heavy with NOR cars.
It's not a random distribution at all... :)

I kind of thought that would be the case, unfortunately (for me).  Thanks.
