I was on FB today and saw where a guy was asking about having DZ with an automatic behind it. I asked for the partial vin and DZ stamp, and he posted some good pics.
partial vin: 19L529083, VO 318 DZ
This is the car that is missing it: https://topclassiccarsforsale.com/chevrolet/472990-amazing-1969-dz302-z28-camaro.html
not sure if the car is in the database, or if anyone knows the owner.
it would be cool to reunite them.
I have the contact info for the Owner of the block. his name is Spencer.

Cool! Someone could buy both and end up with another orphan 302 DZ 19L530071 to find later :)

I have a friend that tracks all things 69 Camaro produced at the Van Nuys plant, and he says that 124379L530071 car is currently MIA. But I did just get the contact info for one of the prior owners of the Green Z, so maybe we will be able to track down the current owner. 🙂

Hello BULLITT65,
I ran across this post while pulling up the vin# on the Green Z.
I’m the new owner and would be interested in reuniting the
original block with the car.
Any information that you could pass along would be greatly
appreciated.
Do you still have the pics of the block with the vin# and Spencer’s
contact information?
Thank you!

Pm sent 🙂

This appears to be an original stamp to me:

Yes seems fine. Have a better pic?

That was the better pic...lol. I am waiting to hear back from the owner of the block. If I can get a better image I will post one.

Pad is good.
