what is the correct size for my 69 Camaro engine wiring for the braided cloth split wiring sleeve. And where is the best place to buy it?
-
Where do you want to use it. I think the only place I've seen it is on the temp sender wire...Joe

Yes sir there and I would like to hide the new wires for the pertronix add on.

NAPA used to have it. I don't know now. Asphalt coated cloth....Joe

I have Never known the Asphalt Cloth to be "Split", it is woven and does not hold shape when spilt axially. They do make a modern corrugated plastic tubing that is split.
Ebay, American Auto Wire and Local Swap meets are good sources for this item, I have had trouble sourcing locally & often get a blank stare at my Counter man when searching for the Gooey Cloth.
I this used in basically two places on the F Body: Temp Sender and the Start leads.
A friendly suggestion for hiding the pertronix lead would be to procure some Harness (NON ADHESIVE) Tapes and re-wrap or over wrap as needed.

Thanks for your help.

If you only need the asphalt cloth, HERE'S (http://www.truckandcarshop.com/67-81Camaro/Camaro2019forweb/Camaro_2019.pdf) The Truck and Car Shop's offering (see below). Check out page 204, P/N 67-16701 for a whopping 4 bucks. Classic Industries probably carries it as well as most other vendors.
