I started a thread over @ SYC regarding restoring my original trunk divider. Mine had obviously been hit with trunk spatter by the 4th owner of the car. I wonder if this divider was in place when Fisher body applied the trunk spatter and could have some spatter on it when delivered to assembly. Anyone have definitive info on this?

Not definitive, but I believe ALL the painting would have been finished before any soft parts were installed in the car!
-
I agree with Gary.

My original has no spatter paint on it. 06A car.

For anyone that has an original clean trunk divider and an interior floor pan that has not been "messed with", I'm curious if there is evidence of spatter on the rear floor?
-
The trunk facing part of the divider was the same brown color as the front sans the yellow markings correct?
-
No, the trunk facing side of the divider is a charcoal grey similar to the trunk floor base color
-
Ok cool thanks.

Bringing this one back to life. Does anyone have any good pictures and dimensions from an original one?

Thank you! What is the divider made of? Would it be possible to see a full picture of front and back?
Doc.

Here's some pics of my original

Before I cleaned it up :)

Does anyone know what a current suitable board would be for this as far as material and thickness? The repop ones aren't close.
