Title: Van Nuys 69 Camaro TR slash 712
Post by: 69RALLYSPORTZ28 on May 12, 2021, 05:23:02 AM
Has anyone ever see a slash between the TR and the interior code on a 69 Van Nuys Camaro before?
Was it by accident or does it indicate something special?

It’s an export vehicle. Export tags are different.

Originally went to Japan. Came back in the 80s.

It's a RS or has headlamp washers.  -

From the ad on Facebook.

Time to sell the 69 RS/SS. Built in Van Nuys for export to Japan. 90K kilometers on the odometer. See the last picture for options.
$55,000. This is an old car. Excellent paint and interior. Everything else is original.
I will not sell it unless you or an agent actually looks at it. Car is in Maine.

No one has ever seen an export Van Nuys Camaro tag before, so it's hard to say. I have never seen it on a domestic tag.
