So took the VIN tag, drive train and other parts out of a Zl1 and put them on base 69 Camaro. IMO that's not the same car nor worth the $300k asking price.

To me this car is just a collection of nice or rare parts and certainly not worth big bucks to me. I owned and totaled an original 67 L78 chevelle in the 70,s and swapped the drive train and interior into another SS body. The car is owned by a friend now and I think I still have the title for the original car but I see no reason to create a pile of rare parts with repop tags.

And the price reflects its history...

I have a 67 Chevelle L78 block but the car seems to be gone.
