Excellent choice. However, I do like both. In my opinion, IF your going with a 442 W-30 the 'holy grail' would be in the Hurst colors of black and gold.

Although in all honesty I would own a nice example of either if money and space weren't an issue. As for the Hurst gold and black, yeah it looks great but now imagine that GS as a GSX in yellow and black.

I agree, that GSX is one bad dude of a car! Im with ya, IF I also could afford it, both would be in my garage. Here is a Saturn Yellow and Black GSX for your viewing pleasure!

It was a black with white interior Century (Skylark) with power everything. I traded it in for a new 78 Caprice. I understand now that they only made about 600 Stage 1,s that year. All I have now is a picture and my exwife is in it.

Could turn the Peerless 60 series into pure smoke with no problem. Impressive to say the least!

Absolutely agree! My buddies '70 GS (the one that ate my CJs lunch) was just like you described: slight stall and floor it...launched like a pro stocker. Very quick. Torque, baby!
