Post by: mjsmilford on October 18, 2005, 10:27:20 PM
on my 69 this sticker is on the drivers door,i thought that this spot was reserved for the tire pressure sticker
which is on my pass. door.  its hard to read but all it says is the date  11/68

Hopefully your car is a November of 69 built car, not a November of 68 car.  Those door stickers were installed on late 69 production cars, due to changes in the federal laws.  Since the 69 model year Camaros were extended into the 70 model year production time period cars made after approximately the beginning of September 1969 will have these stickers. The VIN number should be printed on the bottom of the tag.

The tire pressure sticker was moved further down the door, but still remained on the drivers side.

Here's an original one.

i was under the impression that it was built in 68, because there is no x code on the trim tag and it says 12A.
no big deal, its still a camaro and a first gen at that
