Title: Value of 67 RS SS
Post by: my67rs on December 04, 2005, 04:11:50 AM
What kind of value/potential does a 67 RS SS #'s matching car carry?
It has:
-AC
-factory 350 w/ Powerglide

The Car hasn't been messed with and all the numbers on the block and transmission and body code tag match up with the VIN
Right now it needs to be restored and brought back to life but everything is with it.

Condition is everything.  Matching #'s help a lot, but if it is a rust bucket, it still will not be worth much.  I would say we need more info on the car.

Depends on what you mean by "needs to be restored and brought back to life"...
Of course, the ultimate answer is in the hands of someone else's checkbook.  Right now, in the Carolinas, I'd say:
If a lot of the need is rust, less than $7,000.  If it is relatively rust free and just needs a good wash and wax job, then $12,000 - $18,000.  Restored, as much as $28,000.
Go to one of the price guides, use their "fair to show" ratings.  You'll get close... ???
