Purchase a genuine Holley kit. Order it through Summit or Jegs.

You have a couple of kit options. Original Holley master kit was 85R-2945, renew kit was 3-370. Holley website designates the Renew kit now as 37-1539, about $132.00 list from a lot of places, the Fast Kit for 4150 carbs is 37-1549, about $37.00 from anywhere, gives you most of what you need for a basic rebuild. Take your pick for sources, local included, or hit the big shops for sales and free freight.

Great carbs to work on - be careful with threaded inlets on bowls and don't overtorque any fastener. Zinc and aluminum die cast gets really fragile after 50 years, take your time and be careful not to damage the castings. Easy carbs to refresh and reseal unless some goofball was in it before you - also some good recent threads on professional rebuilders if you choose to go that direction (which lets you recolor and replate parts to factory finishes).

Regards,
Steve

If you just have a leaker I would do a kit. If you have issues you might want to send it out. If you don,t need the replating the price is not bad compared to the Holley master kit. A rebuilder can fix most warped parts and usually has parts they can,t fix.
