Title: 1969 Z28 With Single Exhaust Muffler Hanger
Post by: 69rad on September 29, 2020, 08:53:07 PM
I just installed a new transverse muffler exhaust on my 1969 z28 and noticed it has the single exhaust muffler bracket.  Is it common for a dual exhaust 69 to have that bracket?  There is no reason to believe my car is anything other than the unrestored, wrong color x77 car it appears to be.  Doesn’t appear to have been back halved.  Anyone else see a 69 Z with the bracket?  At first I did not pay attention because I’m used to my convertible having it.  Then later I got to thinking.

Thank you guys for the confirmation.  Makes me feel better.  I had one source that told me that bracket should not be on a Z.  I’ll always come here first for my information from now on. I did search before posting and am surprised I did not find that thread with my exact question.  Sorry!
