Title: KICKDOWN CABLE
Post by: kdka on December 03, 2005, 01:45:54 PM
I need help in locating a source for a kickdown (detent/throttle) cable for a 1969 camaro that attaches to original kickdown bracket on a 350/350 turbo with 4 bbl. Q-jet carburetor.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks.

Man....

For some reason, they are incredibly hard to find.  Since they were used on everything from Impalas to Novas, you would think it was easy to get one......

Not so....I've been looking for almost 3 years now w/o luck.......

I hope you have better luck than me..... :-\

I think I have one and the manifold bracket that goes with it. I pulled it out of a '69 I converted to a 4-spd.
