Title: SHIFTER CABLE GROMMET HOLE SIZE?

HELLO

I AM WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS THE SIZE OF THE HOLE TO BE CUT ON THE HUMP FOR MY NEW HORSESHOE SHIFTER CABLE.  THE CABLE COMES WITH A GROMMET ON IT, BUT AS IS MOST TIMES THE CASE THOSE SUPPLYING PART, ARE NOT SO FORTHCOMING WITH INFORMATION?  AND LOCATION IF ANYONE KNOWS.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED  THANKS

Mike. It's 1-1/2 inch. There's a dimple on the floor just ahead of the shifter forward mounting hole. In the AIM book it's described on M35 A8 if it's a 69. The grommet that goes there from the factory has 3 clips on the back & looks quite similar to the grommet for the wiring on the ducted hood ..Joe
