Title: 69 RS Camaro hideaway headlight Vacuum tank
Post by: 67GTX on June 02, 2020, 10:55:55 PM
I have two tanks, 1 has two vacuum ports on the tank and the other has one.... the brackets are different and in different locations....

I'm Restoring my 69 SS/RS Pace car Convertible tribute car, and would like to know which vacuum tank is correct.

Can anyone help me?

The 2 port is '68. Changed to 1 for '69.

Don't even bother trying to re-use an original valve. Get the OER repro.

The grommet for the two vacuum lines going to the headlight switch is to the left of the grommet with the two wires for your cowl induction hood.

You said the car is a "tribute".  Was it originally a Ralley Sport?  If not the factory hole will not be there,
