Boys,
On some of the other car sites I visit, there is a warning concerning the Harbor Freight 3 ton jack stands. Apparently, they can fail, and there is a safety recall. I suggest you google the 'recall warning' to see if you have any.

3 ton and 6 ton, 454,000 jacks produced between June 13th, 2013 and Nov. 22, 2019. Part numbers are the 61196, 61187 and 56371 stands as was reported in the Powernation TV webmail sent 5/21 (last Thursday). If you have any in use, I'd check out to see if they are part of the recall as crossboss suggests. Bummer for those that have them -
Regards,
Steve

Steve,
If you've just retired, you need some good jack stands and other tools so you can get to work on your cars!!! :)
NOT a walker... :)
