While looking for something else I stumbled upon a couple of vintage souvenir event programs for races held in 1967 at Westwood Racing Circuit in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada. Each program contained an advertisement for Mander Chevrolet/Oldsmobile which talked about the 1967 RS Z28 race car of Laurie Craig.
This first ad appeared on page 8 of the program for the 1967 Castrol Trophy Races held at the track on Sunday, May 7, 1967. It shows a picture of an SS Camaro convertible while also stating, "Watch for the Mander Z28 Camaro - in action soon at Westwood...to be driven by Laurie Craig."
The PDF of the souvenir event program can be seen here: http://searcharchives.coquitlam.ca/uploads/r/city-of-coquitlam-archives/9/7/5/975aead14b44dc0e23d5d2c68a474fc362700aa427b2062b0975deaf8502c246/C16-S01-F01-C16.003.pdf

Here are photos of three other items mentioning the RS Z28 driven by Laurie Craig inside the souvenir program for the Castrol Trophy Races. The last image shows the cover of the program.

A slightly altered version of the same Mander advertisement appeared on page 8 of the souvenir event program for the Players Pacific Western Canada Championship Race held at the track on Sunday, June 25, 1967. The same SS convertible appeared but this time the word "soon" was dropped and it stated, "Watch the Mander Z28 Camaro - in action at Westwood...driven by Laurie Craig. He would race in the sedan race that took place between 1:30 and 2:00 pm.
See a PDF of the entire program here: http://searcharchives.coquitlam.ca/uploads/r/city-of-coquitlam-archives/2/b/c/2bca1c3bf293538fa3fb0c7562aafab46aed166575a3883edbbdabba0284b2ed/C16-S01-F01-C16.002.pdf
The last two photos show the cover of the program and an event brochure.

Here are images of the black Laurie Craig 1967 RS Z28.
The first three came from here: https://public.fotki.com/phildaupho/strata_painting_options/laurie-craig-67-cam/
The fourth was posted by Jon Mello in Reply #232 here: http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=7779.225 The post is from 2013 and in it Jon mentions that, "the current whereabouts of the car are not known but I do have the VIN information so it can be verified if it ever does show up." Has the car been found in the past 7 years?

Any idea of the Z-28 underneath the Chevy Shop decal on the front fender? Was it a decal or emblem? Thanks for posting the pictures. The Corvette seems to be a '65.

Thanks, Wow that Northern breed Zed is being chase by a Bothell Bros sponsored 67, Neat same dealer where my Z11 was sold new.
Great POST!

I spoke to Laurie in 2000 and we tried to find the car. Searched BC and AB VIN records, but it wasn’t in either database.

Here's a pic of the x Laurie Craig Camaro when raced by Tony Morris in 1969, I believe his real name was Morris Torlay ? according
to the article I've included.
(info: Vancouver Sun paper, May 23rd. '69)
Maybe Robert Barg (not active here for some time ? ?) would have something, he is in the Vancouver area.

I can never seem to get an image small enough to fit ::) scroll l-r

Thanks for posting, Mike. The Laurie Craig Z has still not been discovered. It is correct that the car went to Tony Morris (aka Morris Torlay) and I was told about that by Robert Barg some years back. Where it went after Tony was done racing it is not known. It's a terrific car and I hope it still survives.
