Who has the best fitting carpets for 1st gens?
Too many times I see wrinkles or cuts to make it fit

I've used Auto Custom Carpets (ACC) molded 2-piece Camaro carpets and highly recommend them. But, they are slightly oversize on purpose so you can trim the edges to fit. I recommend when fitting a carpet and your if your car has a console, to put the console in so its weight bears down on the carpet, before trimming the edges by the door sill and kick panels. A friend installed his carpet and trimmed it then when installing the console, the weight pulled in the edges slightly and the door sill plates barely had anything to clamp down on.

Agree with ACC.  lay the carpet on a warm day, work from the center out, I used some spray contact cement in key places to get it flat.  trimming the edges is required for any carpet (just don't cut too much! :) )

The originals have quite a few cuts in them which allow them to lay flat... if you don't cut it under the seats as it was originally the carpet will not lay right or wants to bunch up.
