Greetings! New to the group. I wanted to see if anyone has a radio wiring diagram for an X-11 car. The car appears to have never had rear speakers as an OEM option if that matters. Currently it has a two-knob which I'll be upgrading to a Retrosound 2-knob as well. I appreciate any assistance or insights.

Welcome to CRG.
The wiring diagram you seek is available on the web. Just do a Google search.
I do not have a 69, so I've never downloaded that info.

I thought my opensource skills were good but all I could find was a 68... I guess I will sharpen my skills.

Exactly what is it you're looking for? The wiring diagram is in the AIM, UPC 12, Sheet D3 (yellow = power and black = ground - both 20 gauge wires), and UPC U63/U69, Sheet A3, Items 4 and 5. If you still have the original radio installed, just look on the back and you'll see the connections.

A schematic for the 67 am is available. Don't know if it's the same. While you guys are thinking radios..... how in the h do you reach the speaker? Through the glove box or pull the cluster?

I thought I'm looking for a 69 radio wiring diagram so that I can wire a new retrosound radio and replace the existing aftermarket. Do I need something different? BTW, what is AIM?
Ref the speaker. In my last 69 I pulled the cluster and had to extend pretty far underneath the dash to locate and remove the speaker--that was 6 years ago so it's going to be fun this time too...

The AIM is the Assembly Instruction Manual and you can buy it at most of the parts vendors for around $25, or you can download the PDF VERSION (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0llMKUpqcpRbUFnYzlJc1VtUTQ/view) for free.
If you look on the back of your existing factory radio, you'll see a connector with a yellow and black wire, and also the speaker wiring (see attached picture from the AIM below, numbers 4 and 5). That's all there is to it!

That's just a partial list. A more complete list is HERE (http://www.camaros.org/crgrefs.shtml), but even that's not all as we've added additional documentation since that page was created.
But just for starters, THESE (http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=40.0) are the books you should get if you're REALLY looking for information on the first generation Camaro.
