Does a 1968 302 use the lower plug wire looms with 2 slots or 3? Thank you, Joe

So the one on the left is correct? Do you know what the on the right is for? Thank you, Joe

At some point I remember a thread about use of 2 vs. 3.   I just went off the assembly manual. Are those survivors off your car? Mines a Norwood build, if that means anything.

Since it was supplied with the engine, it shouldn't matter if Norwood or LA. Mine is LA. Was just looking through parts & thought I would find out for sure. I'm not sure where the 2 wire ones came from. The 3 wire ones I purchased from Chevrolet in about 1977.

What do you have on your engine?...Joe

Not original to the car, aftermarket.
