Came across this on Facebook. Have no idea if its legit but figured Id let the professionals hash that out. Maybe someone is look to buy, or just to track the car if its not already. 🤙

It's been on eBay for a few months, probably real. Ad text states "...correct numbers matching original motor and transmission." Engine is stamped V0311DZ; car was final assembled on or about June 23rd so it is not the original engine. They are vague about the axle.
Beyond that, not really a survivor. Needs a lot.

No pics of any numbers......

"Needs a lot" is kind of mild for this car.

the ad says
"This car is truly turn key and is ready for a cross country trip. Fly in and drive home "
also says " It has the correct 12 bolt posi rear #389 486 ON F that has been rebuilt with 4.88 gears"
that 302 would be over 3000 rpm all the way home with a lot of gas stops

Since my '69 Corvette with Muncie and similar tires/wheels is turning 3000 rpm at 75 mph, that Z28 would be approximately 4400 rpm at 75 mph! Only someone not familiar with rear gearing could believe that 'cross country' comment in the ad.. :)
