Posting for a guy that found this tag in the rear seat of a 69. Car has the fold down seat and custom interior. The 712 on the tag tells me it denotes black custom covers but I'm only guessing. Can anybody decode the tag and is it rare to find it?

Clearly not the tag for his car, since his is a L78 coupe.
This is for a ragtop with 712 interior, has tint, power black top. I don't understand why they list those options on the tag.
Seems like they sometimes ignored the tag and installed it in car that called for the same interior.

I had one in my car, it is for the radio installation. Is the any chance this is a 8-track car?

The way the convertible top color is under-lined makes one think that maybe the color was special ordered as not recommended for the body color. Otherwise why highlight that part.

Kurt, How do you know his is an L78 coupe? Could convertibles not have a fold down rear seat? I'm not familiar enough with 69's.

Yep, He sure did. I just thought there might be something from the tag that I didn't understand.
