Title: Lube recommendation for brake/clutch bushings
Post by: sabino56 on November 18, 2019, 02:57:56 PM
I’m cleaning up the brake assembly from a 68 manual brakes/clutch. The bushings on clutch pivot shaft and brake are good with no play.  There is some residue of old lube. What kind of lube should be used on reassembly?

Permatex® White Lithium Grease
Category: Multipurpose Lubricants
All-purpose white lubricant is designed to reduce friction between load bearing metal-to-metal and metal-to-plastic applications. Protects against rust and makes surfaces friction-free.
