Title: 1967 Camaro RS headlight motors
Post by: Butternut1967 on November 02, 2019, 03:33:08 AM
I'm thinking of starting to rebuild original RS headlight motors for 1967. The electric ones. I have some spare parts and my thought was if people sent me their original motors I could let them know a cost to rebuild their own motors. Without the influx of used factory parts, my stock will die out pretty quickly. Or, if people do not want their motor rebuilt but have changed to the aftermarket style of motor, but still have original motors or parts, I'm interested in them. This would be perfect for someone wanting original look and sounding motors. Please contact for more information. Thanks

I think that is a great idea. I am looking for 67, if I get an RS I would be interested.
I think people may want some flat rate pricing ahead of time, so they know what they are in for.
Just my 2 cents. Good luck with it 😀

Thank you for your comment. I know people can buy the aftermarket motors for around $125.00 each. They bolt right in and connect with the original connector but come with a different mounting plate. Based on demand and availability of spare parts coming in, I was thinking $175.00 each plus shipping. If nobody sends in any original parts my stock of spares will drop off quickly.
