The 12-digit D.O.T. code says they were manufactured after 2000, and the date code (last four digits on tires made after 2000) says they were made during the 7th week of 2006.

That tire was made after 1968 (when the D.O.T. identification was first required), but before the D.O.T. number code was standardized as a ten-digit code for all tire manufacturers in 1971. Between 1968 and May, 1971, tire manufacturers could use their own internal codes and format to identify the tire type, plant, and date.

JohnZ, you are good!  That code is off the spare tire on my '68Z.
