I need to know what color the grill was painted on my rally green 68 z/28. I read the camaro exterior info but it had only for 69's.

I placed pics and info concerning grill prep on my build thread. We matched pained to paint the grill to match original plastic color and then painted as they were originally done. Along with the riveted brackets!

OP, do you want me to post some CRUSTY Z grill pics? (Parked in 1979)

Post the pics, Jim. They would be useful to see.

Hi Steve! Just wanted to point out or detail for others service replacements like our NOS 68 grille purchased in 1979 had a darker gray molded color than originals, hence we matched and painted our gray color to match originals in 68 first before the argent and black.

Silver & black repainted on this one, but notice the color of the grill plastic. It's very light....& very old.
