I believe him - produced in '67, sold in '67, has to be a '67. This guy has Spock logic - inescapable.

What a maroon -

Based on his geographic location, that species of “maroon” makes up the vast populous of that region and, therefore, have a skewed understanding of reality and everything else in contrast with the species East of that region. Besides, the car just has a poor coefficient of friction... probably overinflated verrrry wide tires?

Its amazing this has become the result of Craiglist car sellers. Rude, obnoxious, insulting, etc. You would think anyone interested in his overpriced car, he would be nice. Guess not. The seller is an absolute jerk.

When it comes to Craigslist, when you're dealing with a D$@K (and yes, there are a LOT of D$@KS on Craigslist), I find it's easier to just flag the ad than put up with the crap. And when it comes around again, I just flag it again.

Well even the title can say its a 67. Hell my DMV asked me what year my 66 Chevelle was so they could print me title. They we're to lazy to figure it out by the VIN

So is it a very late 67 and they or someone put 68 parts on it or what?

Got the pictures (thanks Joe), and it's a 68. A VERY early 68 (probably built the 2nd day of production, maybe even the first), so I can see why he's saying it's a 67. The title also shows it as a "1967" (and of course, we all know the DMV NEVER makes mistakes), so the seller believes it to be a 67. Too bad he isn't open to the facts.

Not a good idea to post the VIN without the current owner's permission. One can get sued, and with this guy, you could bet on it!

And I'm not going to ask him! I don't deal with a-holes.
