Who makes the best correct stripe stencil kit for 69 Z-28?

Probably your painter. I have bought a couple different brands and both ended up in the trash.

Although not Z28 stripes, the DX1 stencil kit for my ‘69 RS was far from perfect.  The painter spent about 4 hrs working with the stencil kit and adding blue tape to get the stripe to come out perfectly aligned across the fender to hood gap as well as getting the top and bottom gaps even at the “327” emblem on the front fender.  Then again, both the painter and I wanted near perfection, not what would have been acceptable by the factory.  All depends on your end goal....if you want better than original, discuss with your painter and get everyone on the same page.

I used stripes and stencils on the last 69 I restored, the main thing is to have photos of your original car with measurements to compare. Most Norwood cars do not have the stripe confined to the recess in the wiper cowl, whereas VN cars are confined to the recess, if you have D80 DO NOT PAINT THE STRIPE ON THE LIP of the TRUNK LID.
