124378N463029 was on ebay back in February of 2016 and also on a Craigslist scam around that same time period. (The Craigslist scammer was using the pictures from the ebay auction.) In 2016 it was also being discussed on the TEAM CAMARO (https://www.camaros.net/forums/66-whats-worth/374697-68-z-project.html) site. A Google search also shows it in other sites as well.

Interesting that car was in Knightstown Indiana at one time. I get a local car trader book and someone in that town will have several cars about like this one. Usually mopars.
I figured a car from Prescott Az would be rust free but it had been in Indiana at one time

Thanks to all for you input
Deal is definitely a scam

So what does one do if it is a scam after winning the bid?

Just curious, have you contacted ebay if you purchased by their guidelines? Realize it will not get you the car but might assist with causing issues for the person selling.

I was in that area about month ago and it's about all pine trees due to the elevation and mountains in the background. In the pictures, it looks like woods you would see in the midwest and flat. Just my observation

Yes I contacted EBAY yesterday morning the listing stayed up all day but was eventually taken down last night.
I did get several canned emails from Ebay that the account was compromised.
I am amazed that Ebay still cant control their platform
This is why they are doomed
Please someone, we need another platform to do business on.

Original eBay owner started eBay to sell his wife's pez collection in the late 80;s. Multi BILLION dollar company, probably heading to trillion in the coming years, getting listings of 10 to 15,00 auctions AN HOUR or more a few years ago. Who knows how many in today's times. I don't think there is any way to control every ad, as the work force would have to be thousands. Would be nice if someone started JUST a car only type of thing. But there is a lot of other places selling just cars online. It could work, but I wouldn't bet on eBay being doomed any time soon. Danny
