Title: 69 BB 4 blade fan bolts

Guys, looking for info/pictures for the bolts that hold the 4 blade fixed fan to the water pump. Head markings, length , etc.

Doc, I did a little research on the spacer, I found it to be part number 3927792, 1". It was used on all 1969 V8 engines that didn't have a fan clutch. Researched the part number in the catalog but find no listing of the bolts. Knowing that it's not big block only might help others to look....Joe

Found some more info. Bolt was a 9427927 which was a 5/16-24x2". Used a lock washer also.

Now you need the head marking

Doc, picture of what our bolt heads are on our 69 L78 Nova which did not utilize a fan clutch from factory. Had to use a light and mirror to get a picture.

The ones for mounting the fan clutch to the pump also have that same head...just didn't know about 4 blade...Joe

Any big/small blocks out there with a different head marking than Chick's?
