The word Camaro as defined by Chevrolet translated to “friend, pal, or comrade.” Truer words have never been spoken because we lost a true Camaro friend to the Camaro community Bud Scolastico, who battled a long illness. For those of you who never heard of him or didn’t know his contribution, he was the driving force behind the Camaro Nationals. His tireless efforts built the show into what it has become. RIP my friend…….

I'm sorry to hear that Steve... :(
I remember Bud well and yes, he 'ran' the Camaro Nationals during the period when I attended. He along with other members of the Maryland Camaro Club were the reason I joined that club at the time.
RIP Bud!

I never really knew him but I'll never forget when I called Bud on the phone a few years back to talk about the Camaro Nationals.
Me: "Hi Bud, do you have a minute to talk about Camaros?"
Bud: "There is ALWAYS time to talk about Camaros!"
