I realize this topic has been covered before but I am curious if there is a known date as to when it implemented. I have heard 67's did not get the deadener. But I know 68 & 9 did. Any known info?

I'm doing a '67 with deluxe interior and it originally had trunk sound deadener.
-
Interesting. What is the build date on the car?

Darrell, I'm assuming you've already read THIS (http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=10167.0;all)? Especially reply #20.

Thank you Ed. I had missed that post. I remember now after seeing it again. So is the correct assumption is that ALL 67-9 deluxe interior cars received the deadener. I didn't know if there were early cars that didn't receive it. Thanks for the replies.

That's the assumption, but no hard facts to prove it. As a matter of fact, I have a lot of 68 deluxe interior cars in the DB WITHOUT the deadener! But after 50 years, you can't take what's left in a car (or what's NOT left in a car) as face value.

This is true. But I would think (yeah I know; assuming) that there would be discoloration or stains or something left behind if it was removed unless the floor was striped and redone.. Anything is possible really when it comes to pieces missing that were suppose to be there especially if they were out or running short and wanted to get the cars out the door. Thanks again for all the help.
