Title: August 1973 - sad day for 1st gen Camaro enthusiasts
Post by: z28z11 on February 08, 2019, 03:33:21 AM
I ran across this in my archives tonight, I do remember reading it over the years (and cringing every time I read it). Shoulda-coulda- woulda, hindsight is always 20-20 in vision clarity.

Check out the block, hood, intake and rear end part numbers - all at the same time. Sad -

Regards,
Steve

on the 396 12.5:1 pistons; i assume the 3917147 would be std. bore.
any guess on what the others are?
3916150 = +.030?
3916152 = +.040?
3916154 = +.060?

Likely .020, .030, and .060, Those are the gaps in my '74 printing 65-69 All w/ Sp. H/Perf (396) 1st. design parts book -
