Title: Stove Pipe Question
Post by: 69 ice cat 8 on December 05, 2018, 10:31:32 PM
Hello Members,
Does anyone know is a stove pipe heat riser from a 6 cylinder '68 Camaro will fit a 327-210 hp '68 Camaro?
Thanks in advance.

I moved your thread from the Site Comments section, but I believe the answer is no. The 6 banger pipe (P/N 3915952) is longer and shaped differently than the LF7 pipe (P/N 3917680).

Bryon, also note there's a difference between the LF7 pipe (P/N 3917680) and the L30/L48 pipe (P/N 3916309).

Hard to tell Bryon.

HERE'S ONE ON EBAY (https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-1968-1969-CHEVELLE-NOVA-CAMARO-CARBURETOR-AIR-HEAT-TUBE-3917680-SEE-APPS/163370564014?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649) to compare.

Not sure if this one is for a 1968 base 327 or not. Might be L30 and L48 with automatic trans.

I don't think yours is the LF7 Bryon. I think yours is the L30/L48 version as you suspect. Here's what the LF7 looks like (see attached). Notice that the end that attaches to the air cleaner doesn't bend up as much as yours.
