Ok I heard a guy on the internet say .... the BE code on a 1969 Camaro rear end has something to do with a person named Bob Edwards. Who is Bob Edwards?
-
I have never heard that and seriously doubt it.
-
Sounds more like BS to me.

Yep, more like MORE BS... :)
-
Maybe the BU and BV were named after some of his relatives.
-
Then I'd hate to know what 'BJ' stands for on my 67's rear. ;)

Funniest thing I have heard all week. :)
Nope, just part of all the axle codes. They had to use letters.

My BS meter was going off but wanted to know if I was missing something. The guy that said this was Patrick Glen Nichols. He was videoing a Barn Find 69 Yenko Camaro Vin: 124379N668616 on ( Muscle car barn finds.)
-
I watched the vid. My guess, he was stating the code phonetically so as not to be misunderstood. He should have said 'Bravo Echo'.
-
That guy does some pretty good videos. Not all 100% correct but for all the models he does pretty good.
-
I know a Brad Edwards - wonder if he could be a relative..? ??? :D
