He's pretty aggressive with prices on his other parts too. Don't think I have ever seen a $500 fan belt before.

Seller is the Logan family, who formed the entity 'Pilot Car Registry', and own/restored several of those cars believed to feature on the list.
Just my personal thoughts, but suspect whenever the car is listed for sale, it's for the publicity, rather than a serious attempt to find a new owner for it.

the seller states the "infamous 1967 Camaro...". If the seller wants $1.0 mm, he should not use the word infamous. Lol.

If I had that kind of money to spend on a Camaro, I believe it would go towards a 1-of-69 ZL-1, a few COPO's, or a building full of 67,8 and 9 Z's, SS's and oriiginals/preserved cars. If the car is real, it's a piece of history, but not qualifying this kind of coin. JMO -

You never know. There might be 940K in the glove box.

I hate being picky, but the car in the pictures has no emblems on both the trunk & front header panel like the car for sale has.
Just saying......

That would get it closer to reality. 😀

I wonder if this is the same family I met in early 90s I was at a car show and the people had a 1969 pace car and they said it was actually paced at the track, there were pages of pics of the car at the track. The show was in Salina, but they weren't from Salina. Hutchinson would have been a very short drive.
