1968 Muncie found alive in a '69 X44 base car. Not in the doc list, anyone have this car ?

Yep. The car's still out there (at least it was back in 2001 when we entered it in the database), and the owner is a member of the Team Camaro site. I've sent him an email and a Team Camaro IM, so if he still has the car, hopefully he chimes in.

Ed,
Do we know how the original car was optioned ? M20 or 21 ?
The car that this trans resides in is a base car X44, no Muncie cable routing, speedo cable is definitely Saginaw or auto, 12 bolt PY code rear appears original, no dual exhaust frame plate, has a '69 Hurst console shifter and console (of course, could have been added). Factory A/C car (missing). I have not approached the owner about swapping the trans out, but he might be amenable. He knows it's a '68 trans to another Camaro.
Someone pulled a real number on the engine pad - ever seen a T073DZ restamp ? I haven't until now.
Regards,
Steve

No, but from the data it appears it started life as a big block. The 3.07 12 bolt is about the only original thing still on the car so it was probably an L35/M20 car.
